I took driving classes with A north state academy driving school in Durham. They are the most incompetent schools out there. The instructor was bad and very rude. After driving with him, he successfully convinced me that I could never drive in my life. He was highly irregular and so impatient. So I wished to discontinue the classes. I informed the instructor and he promised to refund 2.5 classes worth of money(= $125/-). stay away

North State was contracted to provide instruction for East Chapel Hill High School. The instruction was poor; they consistently refuse to schedule contracted driving classes; they do not return phone calls, and seem incompetent in general. Stay away.

I was adult driver, firtst time to try Drivers License. Unlike other driving school, their teaching is not only focusing on driving "skills", but also on "mental preparation" for new drivers. It helped me a lot, in particular, I was a nervous learner. I passed the test at the first attempt from after 8 lessons.
