A Baker's Tale

A fairy tale theme adds whimsy to this hip yet homey Wicker Park bakery-cafe serving inexpensive sweet treats, breakfast, soup-and-sandwich lunch, plus coffee and tea drinks. Alice in Wonderland references abound on the menu and in the decor, which features hat-shaped light fixtures, tabletops designed to look like open books, keys, clocks and some surprising green grass walls near the restrooms.
