First time visiting this lovely little place. Nice decor, pleasant waitress, average food, a bit pricey for what you get and where it is located. It's a nice place for an average meal. Nothing special. Glad I had such good company to enjoy with.

The service was friendly and the atmosphere pleasant. The bread is local, fresh and delicious. The menu is varied with inspired combinations that will please everyone. The burger was good. The calamari was fresh and included delicious peppers. The braised rib was tender and flavorful. The clam and corn chowder was tasty but tasted more like plain corn chowder.

I've eaten numerous times at 85 Main and each time my expectations are more than met. The location is beautiful with outdoor seating available during warmer months, huge windows that are often open to the quiet street outside, and a great bar with the raw bar being right in front of you.
