Restaurant cannot be call $1.99 anymore. But it is still good in a mom and pop dirty kind of way.Everyone always get the chicken rice plate. Oldie but goodie If you are a local "Bolsa" person.

This place is really cheap. If you want food that's cheap and surprisingly good, this is the place. Ordered the Steak and Eggs as well as the BBQ pork dish. All were pretty good. Beware Cash...

Things don't get much cheaper than $1.99 Restaurant (locations in Westminster and Garden Grove). And while most items for $1.99 aren't memorable, spend 50 cents more for half a Cornish game hen, deep-fried and served with a garlic soy sauce and rice, and you'll have a reason to return.
