I always take a particular client to this restaurant when I go see him, and the service and the food is always top notch! Great place for a business meeting with just one or several clients at a time. The atmosphere may be my favorite part!

This was my first visit to Z's. Me and my husband were on a date night. We dressed for the evening. The atmosphere was pleasing. However, it went down from that point. The bread tasted like it needed at least 10 minutes in the oven, the server smelled of smoke. The food was very, very, poor. Very unpleasing to the eye and it tasted just as it looked. I asked the server for cocktail sauce and received ketchup. We were over charged, and to add insult to injury, we were charged a 20% gratuity??? We were extremely disappointed with the restaurant. Z's Oyster Bar & Steakhouse is my new favorite restaurant. Indianapolis has needed a true Seafood restaurant for a while. The Seafood is as fresh as anything I've had on either coast and the Prime Steak is the best in a city with too many steakhouses. We went on a Friday and enjoyed the half price bottles of wine.
