This is upscale dining at its best. From the vaulted ceiling and custom ironwork to the heavy, velvet drapes, Zelo oozes elegance. Opt for one of the curvy, black leather booths situated along the walls. The upscale menu features a variety of pastas, shrimp and beef dishes, as well as gourmet pizzas. In Short Vaulted ceilings soar overhead, while stylishly dressed diners occupy intimate banquettes. The decor is almost theatrical--dark, sumptuous fabrics, murky lighting, gold accents. The hostess had attitude.

The server was drunk, and rude.

We left and ate at the Dakota... more

I had a reservation for a small group and really wanted a special place. The ambience was good. Too noisy until some of the people left. The food was good, but the waiter was incredibly aloof. Someone else used the word "snooty"in another review, so I wonder is this is the same person. If you want a place to converse, son't go during peak times. Make sure youask for the non-snooty waiter!
