Editorial reviews from the web (2)

This upscale downtown shopping center is the Seattle address of such familiar retailers as Barneys New York and Ann Taylor. There are works by Dale Chihuly and other Northwest glass artists on display throughout City Centre, as well as a very comfortable lounge where you can rest your feet and escape from the Seattle weather.

For dyed-in-the-wool shoppers, this mall is all about Barneys New York; for the diner, it's all about Palomino.

In Short
It's telling that City Centre is part of the US Bank Centre building: gigantic vaulted ceilings, artwork (which all seems to be from 1987) behind monstrous wood and glass...

Chihuly Installation is this Mall's Highlight

Average Rating
80

City Centre -- a mall located Downtown at Fifth Avenue and Pine -- holds shops, restaurants and the U.S. Bank Centre. It is worth coming here to see the massive Dale Chihuly glass installation on the second floor. Go in the entrance that is right at Fifth and Pine and proceed up the escalator. Walk straight ahead, and the installation...

Homeless ruin downtown

Average Rating

Seattle is a beautiful city but it is a Shame they have allowed homeless people to take over the downtown area. The homeless have trashed some areas , such as 3rd Ave and Pine that has fast food containers and cigarette butts everywhere. We went to the Bank if America at 4th and Pine and their were armed guards at...

Seattle Bathrooms With Cypherlocks...Annoying

Average Rating
80

Seattle itself is fun to walk around but I left the town with a phobia of finding a bathroom that wasn't locked. Its a pain to ask for the combo to the bathroom everywhere you go and many stores don't have them. It was explained to me the homeless/drug use was the main reason for this.

Retail, food fair and seating

Average Rating
80

Independent vendors offer a wide selection of food, and there is ample seating for all. Chain retailers and independents are worth a look, at the very least. Not a massive centre, but clean and right in the retail core.
Downtown stop for the Seattle Centre Monorail.
