First Time I went to Zaffiros was 08-25-99 reason I remember that, because it was my first date with my husband, and my first pizza joint in Milwaukee. (I'm from Sheboygan). We have tried many pizza pubs and do like some, but Zaffiros out ranks all of them! great staff! and even better pizza! get there early enough to avoid a waiting time! many ppl must think like I do?! they have to LOVE it!!!!! try it out!

You say you like thin-crust pizza? You'll have to go some distance to find one thinner than the pizzas served at this unassuming east side bar. The real treat is to dig into it while that crust is hot out of the oven, revel in the tomato, melted mozzarella and other toppings you've chosen, and listen to that delicate crust gently crack between your teeth.

I love Zaffiro's...it has a great "dive" atmosphere that captures the nostalgia of old-school pizza joints. They make the thinnest crust pizza in town and it is perfectly spiced--I like a simple pizza like cheese & onion which is perfection at Zaffiro's.
