This bare-bones, affordable facility has single ($60), double ($90), and triple ($105) rooms within walking distance of Back Bay and South End restaurants and shops. A dining room serves inexpensive meals. The Back Bay T station (which also serves Amtrak) is just three blocks away. For stays of more than a few nights, you must apply at least a week in advance. Long-term stays are $185 per week, which includes breakfast and dinner. Men, housed on a separate floor, can stay up to 13 nights; women can stay longer. www.ywcaboston.org . 200 rooms without bath.
