The store is dark and dusty not very well organized. Stuff piled up all over the places and you can barely walk around. Their stuff looks to me like left over from another resale shop. They do have a large area with lot of music CDs old albums and books etc. If that is what you are interested. It is a waste of time for me.

Good Samaritan Thrift Store: Quaint, well organized, pricey at times. insiderpages.com

Good Samaritan Thrift Store is very well organized. In particular, the magazines, records, and comics are organized by title and usually by month/year. The magazine wall looks like that of a retail store.

Books and Music Music and books are undoubtedly the best reason to visit the Youth Alternatives. The records are stored properly: vertically and not too tightly packed. You might also get lucky and find a pristine box of albums dropped off by someone unloading an entire collection. Many of the books are donated by a well-known chain store, so the titles are more intriguing than the usual Jacqueline Susann fare.
