Basic bird is a great place if you are into parrots. They always have lots of parrots there, ususally being boarded rather than for sale, although they have parrots for sale as well. The staff is fantastic, they are knowlegeable and understanding and will give your bird the best care possible whether it is for a nail and wing trim or if you are boarding your bird while going on vacation. good for birds, also has supplies for other pets. They sell birds, guinea pigs, fish, and other rodents. They have adoption days with local rescue groups, which is very nice. They sell the good guinea pig food (cavy cuisine), which is nice.

We got our African Grey (baby) about a year ago and got excellent service from the beginning stages of adoption to the actual pick up and since for organic food and supplies. Have worked with other shops over the past fifty years and defintely recommend the Basic Bird to anyone wishing to adopt a great bird.
Very helpful staff wiling to please!
