The Young School is a great choice for military families. I’m a former Naval Midshipman and was deployed in Afghanistan for most of my daughter’s first year. It was tremendously difficult to be away from my family but knowing my daughter was safe, happy and thriving at The Young School made our time apart more bearable.

I'm updating my review as we've been with the Young School for a while longer now. The high points of the Young School are:

- a wonderful, warm environment for kids with lots of influences from nature
- an emphasis on making kids comfortable with new situations - thoughtful transitions between levels of school
- fun summer programming with lots of water play and themed fantastic fridays!...

Our four year old just started at The Young School in September. We have been really happy so far. The classes are a good size. The equipment and everything is clean and organized. The teachers seem to genuinely enjoy their job: playing with and helping the kids. Our daughter is extremely happy to be going there.

I am very pleased with how much my daughter is enjoying going to The Young School. She loves going there and even on the weekends, she would ask "can I go to school today?". I rated my total experience as a 4 out of 5 only because it would be great if they could provide a little bit more information about what my daughter is doing in school.
