I have not been to West End in years, but my son is obsessed with trains. My mom's birthday was coming up and I was looking for a new steakhouse to try. I looked to see what was on the Dart Rail, and decided to give YO a try. It was awesome, the service was great, personable, and sweet to my crazy family. One of the many place's to eat on Ross and by all mean's pull a West End retreat to this unique hideout for lunch.....I have been going by and went in a couple of time's to know and say it is a West End landmark now, until then a freind of the old Profrock that opened the Y.O.........A/T.
The buffalo filet mignon was the most tender piece of meat I have ever eaten. Grilled over mesquite medium rare, I literally was able to cut this fine filet with a fork. The meat had the most pleasant aroma of mesquite wood. The baked potato also had a strong mesquite smoky flavor and I learned that YO bakes their tators over mesquite for 4 hours.
