This is a small, old facility. The gym stinks of sweat and the equipment is old. Not a good choice if you care about such things. It's a shame. Y's can be pretty nice.

I am a member of the Edgewater low impact areobics. We have classes in the Gym. It is very hot. We have spoken to the director about this and so far nothing has been done. What does it take before we at least get some fans in there. Does someone have to pass out. You are dealing with people 60+ years of age. We need air.!!!!!!!

needs to be upgraded -more machines w'better selection machines need to be cleaned - on a regular basis and recommend the staff do this during their work hours -however staff are very accommodating, helpful and personable and make gym visits very pleasant and creates a home type atmosphere.

Each YMCA reflects the community it's in, offering differing services based on the area. Most include fitness areas with aerobic equipment, classes and racquetball and tennis courts.
