This is an OK neighborhood gym.... Not too many weight machines. Not for serious lifters. I also hated the pool schedule during the summer...closing at 6pm on a Saturday was a bummer. Staff for...

Great facilities, new and clean equipment, friendly staff, reasonable membership rates.Nice outdoor pool but no hot tub.

The YMCAs in the Albuquerque/Santa Fe/Rio Rancho area offer very little compared to YMCAs in any other part of the country. You would expect that in a place with so much space and cheap real estate that you would find large YMCAs with all the amenities. Not so, apparently. There is only one YMCA with a basketball court, and it has one, tiny basketball court that is usually being used for some other activity. There is one YMCA with a pool but it is a very small, three-lane pool. The fitness centers are nice and there's child care, but only during certain odd hours of the day. Forget tennis...

Each YMCA reflects the community it's in, offering differing services based on the area. Most include fitness areas with aerobic equipment, classes and racquetball and tennis courts. Many also have day care and after-school programs, as well as summer day camps.
