I was first introduced to Yen Ching when John Pia (sp) ran the place. All the food I ever ate there was wonderful but my favorite dishes were Princess Prawns and Yen Ching beef. Their Hot and Sour soup was special as was all of their food. I really miss this place and try to get there (to St Louis) just to confirm my memory of this great restaurant. We love Yen Ching. Want Chinese in Brentwood, Richmond Heights, Ladue, or Clayton...go Yen Ching. Hot tea is a nice touch and the staff is nice.

This place is small, so if you haven’t heard about it… you can’t be blamed. But if you’ve eaten here, it’s probably one of your favorite places. The food is very affordable and a little addicting, so be prepared to want to go there often. It’s very laid back and quiet, perfect for a business meeting.
