I was a member at Xcel for two years. The staff was extremely rude. I canceled my membership, and thought things were fine. However, when I tried to use my last month(which I prepaid in advance), I was turned away at the door by being told that I was not allowed to enter because of ""nonpayment"". So, I quit going. Three weeks after I canceled my membership, I started reciving phone calls that I owed the gym money because of unpaid dues(they were attempting to charge me for months after I canceled my membership). Then came letters from a collection agency every month attempting to collect...

xcel is a great fitness center

i have been with xcel for two years and i do not have one thing to complain about. the staff is VERY friendly and they are always willing to help. the gym is very clean and always looks nice. the classes are amazing and have put me in the best shape of my life.

i would never want to use another fitness center. xcel has an awesome mission statement 'putting forth the necessary effort to deliever the xcel experience to every member everyday' and they do just that.

all the members are friendly and i always meet new people there. this is a high end gym and it shows. you get what you pay...
