I love the ambience, the wine and the cheese appetizer. I used to love the bluefish pate but that hasn't been available in a long time.

Service continues to be a problem here. With the exception of 1 or 2 excellent servers, the wait staff and support staff are unrestrained and not very knowledgeable. For the price one pays here, and the excellent atmosphere, one expects better service

Food was strongly flavored in odd ways. I had a gnocchi dish and lemon tart of which I was unable to eat more than a couple bites. My husband really liked the brisket, but I thought it was also very strong. As for the atmosphere, the temperature inside was too cold. The heat was turned on for a few minutes after mentioning the cold air to our waiter, but then the vent was blowing cold again...
