This restaurant in the historic Taft Building in Hollywood offers "amazing" classic cocktails and "tasty little plates" of American comfort fare – from chicken 'n' waffles to pork rillette – at "reasonable prices"; the "cool" "old-industrial" interior with tin ceilings and a "beautiful bar" opens onto a "rustic patio", while its location near the theaters makes it a convenient pick "before or...

Thanks to its closeness to the Pantages Theatre, this slight Southern-American spot is an inviting haven for those in need of a pre-show meal. The menu gets surprisingly creative, with honey-roasted, truffle-infused goat cheese figs; chicken and waffles with maple glaze and sage butter; and grape and watermelon sorbet with mint and honey. Sunday brunch is always popular, as are the Monday night...

PASADENA— Pasadena is apparently where Asian brands go to be reborn as fusion flavors. Ten Ren opened its first Pasadena outlet called Flour + Tea. The latest branch of the Taiwanese tea shop is located at the bottom of a mixed use condo "The Dalton." While street...

Very slow and inattentive service. We had our food served before we even got our wine and had to ask for it 3 times. The automatic 20% tip reduces waitstaff's sense of urgency to please diners

This is a "shared dishes" type of restaurant. The quality is very good, but I came away feeling as though I had eaten a set of random appetizers. Chicken pot pie was notable. Bar is well stocked and they had my favorite single malt, Balvenie 14. Fun place on the Blvd., but can't give it an A+.

We ate at Wood & Vine before seeing a play at the Pantages Theatre. We made the reservation while on the way there. We were welcomed by a friendly person right inside and seated right away. It wasn't crowded as it was only 4:30p. We ordered the charcuterie board and olives to start followed by the cobb wedge salad, turkey meatballs, chicken and waffles, and the scallops and pork belly. We...
