If you want the most unprofessional, scariest abortion, and most painful, go here. The 2 front desk women were cackling the whole time. I was extremely scared. They were not supportive at all. 1 had distasteful tattoos and used double negatives when speaking with me. I didn't feel safe at all.
They did not give me the proper pain medicine and the doctor gave me a giant bruise trying to insert the IV in my arm.
I can usually tolerate pain but this was excruciating. I did a lot of research before and most women found their abortions to be slightly painful.
They didn't even tell me they were going ahead with the procedure. This being my first time I was very unfamiliar and I wanted my mom in the room with me.
They didn't offer or ask if I was ok. This was a truly traumatizing procedure. The doctor was about 90 years old and he kept telling me to set my butt down. "Stop fighting him, you're making it worse." Were the nurses words of encouragement.
Afterwards I sat in the waiting room where they blasted a pop radio station. I had to ask for water and when I asked for pain medication they treated me as a drug seeker, telling me the IV was enough. I was sweating profusely and had to ask for water AGAIN. She had forgot.
While I sat in the waiting room I could hear another woman getting her procedure and screaming in pain. She later told me that was worse than child birth and she's had 4 kids.
I paid $461 for one of the most painful, scary, and traumatic medical procedures I've ever had.
