Politicians, Capitol Hill locals and downtown office workers make up the bulk of the lunch and dinner crowds. The Wolfeman earns his smoking crown with meaty spears that are dense with hickory smoked flavor and moist meat that slides off the bone. Sauce is optional with bones this good, so rib paints are on the side. The smoked tofu is an option for vegetarians.
Tips About This Business
If street parking isn't available, the pay lot behind the restaurant is free during dinner hours.
Wolfe's is a one-man show, so some days may take longer than others.

Mr....

The atmosphere was good for a small business, there were all kinds of awards on the wall, and so we were expecting great food. The meat was dry, I mean DRY, like it was cooked in the oven. The meat did not taste smoked or really taste like...

It's been months since I was there, even though I live right down the street. Despite being raised in the south, I really don't eat much BBQ, otherwise, I'd be there more often! Me and a friend wandered in close to closing time. Mr. Wolfe was snarky and direct, which we definitely relate to! I'm fairly sure he thought he were completely drunk, when actually we are just that goofy and were...
