There's the atmosphere of a 1930s tramp bar, with the intimacy of your own living room. Boots, the joint's owner, mans the bar and runs the soundboard. Whether you walk in to...
I loved this place back when it was actually called Windows on the Cumberland and was downtown on 2nd Avenue North. This listing needs to be updated, as it now resides at 515 2nd Ave. South *…
Windows Off the Cumberland is a dive venue (which isn't necessarily a bad thing) located in a small building that was probably originally a house or a dentist's office. I had good experiences at…

Pros
+ Decent Venue
Cons
- No hard liquor

I would go back if the music was right but I wouldn't recommend it for atmosphere or great location.

The beer selection is nice and, frankly, if you can't sit at the bar and gaze out over the river while nursing a Budweiser, you don't belong here anyway.
Cover charge varies depending on show. Often, bands just rely on a tip jar.
