My date and I went to check out Windows on the Cumberland thinking it would actually be somewhere near the river and it turned out to be this little boxed in beer only place around the corner from third and lindsley. I would go back if the music was right but I wouldn't recommend it for atmosphere or great location.

Unlike many downtown music venues, Windows On The Cumberland has character and atmosphere. Tall windows line the wood-paneled walls and actually do overlook the Cumberland River.
