Winchester Gardens is beautiful. They do respite but only upon availability. They were doing bingo when we were there. They had an activity list with movie nights, and rooms where people just play board games and play pool, a TV room, and a reading room. It is very big. My friend already moved to Winchester Gardens. The location is good. The rooms are designed reasonably well. The food is excellent. I have participated in some of their activities. I have seen the schedule for the month, and they have a lot. Some of them are excellent. Some are so-so. The staff is very friendly, very helpful, and I still communicate with them. They are as good as they come.

If was rich, I would say Winchester Gardens would be a nice place to go. They had a park, and they also had different shops. It was built like a hundred years ago, and the dining room looked like it was from the 1880's. It was kind of dark and creepy. The park setting and all the shops were nice. The fact that they had a huge amount of space was good.

The one-bedroom apartment of Winchester Gardens is very nice. They have a pool, a movie theater, and a library. They do trips, and they have happy hours. It seems to be really pretty good. The facility is terrific, but I have not been pleased with the administration because of the coordination and responsiveness. I’m hopeful that that’s going to be better.

The community is geared toward independent living. The care in assisted living is sporadic. Senior nurses are unapproachable and company management is focused on cost reductions and have compromised care
