The line is always out the door at this roadside palace of home-ground beef, where people flock from everywhere to eat Mr. Wimpy's perfect patties. Make sure to get chili on whatever you order. Tip: Call ahead to skip the line and remember, Wimpy's is only open M-F and closes at 2 pm!

Whimpy's makes a great burger. They grind their own meat every morning and hand-form the patties. If you laugh at heart disease, try the chuckwagon, a deep fried hamburger patty that is delicious. Support your local burger joint, because they make 'em the best.

With a phone call, I place my order and by the time I drive the mile between my house and hamburger heaven, it is waiting for me. I have never been there that the owner and his wife aren't the ones taking my order and compiling it--hard working people usually create the best comfort food!
