Our group has played this course for many years. It has always been a fun course for us - average to above average players.

I've been golfing for about 13 months, and Willowick was one of the local course that offers relatively decent green fees. It has always been the last choice of course on the list of its conditions, and management staffs carelessly ignored most if not all of the regular maintenance....etc.

They had been letting the grass grow for the heat. Made fairway shots important. Greens were holding. A little slow to play, but cost was low.

I wouldn't recommend this course unless you have 6 hours to kill playing 18 holes. They let fivesomes play and it slows down everyone else, there aren't any rangers out to speed people up either. It took me 3 hours to play 9 holes and I quit after that even though I paid for 18 holes, it was not worth wasting another 3 hours, not to mention there is no way to get in a rhythm when you wait 15...

The pace of play was slow for the first half. We waited most holes. The back nine was good, moved right along.
