Buying fish & seafood in NYC is tricky, as you can get old stuff even if you pay a premium.Generally, Wild Edibles has been ok (rarely great) but i have gotten old fish a few times. I come here...

I bought 3 pounds of mussels here and when I got home I was disappointed to see that most of them (about 80%) were open and dead. I had to throw the whole bag away. They also smelled really nasty....
