I visited the Whiskey on a Tuesday night to watch a local band. I was not happy about how unfriendly the bouncers at the door were. I'm 40 years old and they treated me as if I was a 16 year old punk trying to get in to party. I did like how the sound mixer was very concerned about how all the bands were sounding. The bands aren't good, security treats folks like animals with searches for knives and guns, it draws hip-hop hoods with "bling" who try to sell CD's (and get violent if you don't buy), and the bookers are real exclusive now.
