Update. We left before eating tonight because the order line was not moving and they couldn't work the register. Probably shouldn't have new or inept folks working register Sunday evening. Really waited almost fifteen minutes in a buffet order line...walked next door for a mediocre experience at Omars.

Where to start? I hadn't seen a Western Sizzlin for years and decided to eat there for nostalgic purposes.
My meal was the country fried steak with mushroom gravy. The steak was okay but the gravy was like brown salt slurry with a mushroom in it. I got a salad bar trip and the food seemed to be too warm,...

I've never been so disrespected by a manager in my life. They got our steak wrong twice and the manager come out and told my mother (on her birthday) that he doesn't like wasting steaks. We had to do her birthday in the parking lot because she was so upset!

The food here is always fresh and tasty. The buffet offers a good variety and usually the staff does a good job of keeping it well stocked and clean. On busy nights there is a host on hand to direct customers to seating and this is very helpful. The cashiers are sometimes a little strange and not "tuned in" to...
