Nice to have this in Wheeling. Hockey is fun to watch in this sized arena. Concerts are only fair here as acoustics are poor. we love to see the Nailers play there. there are other events there also. we love the hockey. love the arena. clean, easy access, you can see from anywhere. parking 5$. it is all good.

Lacks direction and programming

It sits in a primary location in Wheeling and fails to provide any significant programming aside from hockey. Yearly monster truck, toughman contest, etc aren't enough. WHY major concerts aren't booked is a mystery. Could be a great boost to downtown but instead it sits vacant most of the year.
