Dr. Welch and her staff are kind and helpful.
Dr. Welch and PA Amy ?are never in a rush when they sit down with you. They make you feel like you are the only patient they have. I always leave with a clear explanation? and understanding of my health.

To put it plain English...she is the ONLY physician in my life that has ever spent time with me and listened and cared about my diabetes and associated medical conditions. Always listens and answers questions. She is definitely one of (if not the) best endocrinologists in the San Antonio-area. To find a good endo is hard as there are fewer and fewer each year in the US. I am fortunate to have found her when I moved to this are a several years ago. Dr Welch is good, but not a fan of the NP. Expect to wait 30-60+ minutes to finally see someone. Most recent appt office was over an hour behind. They push the patient portal hard, so if you arent a tech person, be warned.

Its dofficult to speak with any staff for apointments. There are 2 staff members that checkout and answer phones. One of them should be able to assist. Kept me on hold that I merely had to show up to clinic to cancel appt. I shouldnt have to use a patient portal. I have cancelled my appts . Also NP is very condescending.
