While I do respect that The Wedge has a fabulous selection and is well-known for supporting local farmers, I have honestly never have had a more uncomfortable shopping experience (and yes, I have been here numerous times) in my entire life. The Wedge is the best co-op in the Twin Cities. Everyone that works there is so informed and helpful. Their deli, bakery, and smoothie/juice bar are great. Their fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice and mangolita smoothie are my favorites.

The Wedge co-op has a great location right on Lyndale Ave. in Uptown. I like their wide selection in the bulk aisle and their fresh food section. The Wedge has a larger selection than Lakewinds. They are usually pretty busy, at least all the times that I have been there. I like that they recognize the Lakewinds memberships here too.
