Lucky to have this "fair weather only" spot on the lake

There are very few places to get good food with a great view of Chautauqua Lake. Many places with water front locations figure that folks will come regardless of the food quality. Not so at the Watermark. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The actual space at the bar is small,but it IS nice to have a full bar available....

If you can tolerate bland then you might enjoy a lake view if you get a lakeview seat

I've been here several times over the last few years and each time I remind myself not to come back. However, it is a friends' favorite restaurant and the only one she will go to.
She loves it, but then again she eats carrot and celery sticks for lunch most days.

Went there for our anniversary this past summer. It was so delicious my husband and I each had seafood and both of our dishes were fantastic. The truffle risotto was perfectly done. The scenery and decor are great. Wish they were open longer than just the summer.
