Water Street Coffee Joint

Cozy atmosphere, great coffee, and yummy goodies to go along with your coffee! Their parking situation is a bit of a mess. Granted, its location doesn't exactly allow for a large personal parking lot, but I would come here a lot more when I'm home in the USA if it were easier to get to and/or if there were more places to sit.

Wow... this place kicks ass! What a good find! I stopped in Kalamazoo on my way home and did a quick search on where to get good espresso. Yelp helped me...

Cozy little coffee shop. This little coffee shop is nested next to the old Penn rail tracks that are now used by AMTRAK. Order at the counter and select your seating inside our out side. Dishes are more like a deli than a café, Relax and pursue the internet over your order of coffee, baked goods or light fare.

Water Street is the best coffee hands down. Their food items are good but coffee is king here. Noticed a poor review that didn't even try the coffee and that's what they do best. You can purchase beans and grind fresh to avoid daily (and expensive) trips. Try the French Roast or Midnight Oil.

I lived in Kalamazoo in the 90's and remembered when this place first opened. That being said, Water Street Coffee Joint is the first place I hit when returning! Great pastries, coffee and service.
