I've stayed at the Wardman Marriott in DC four times this is the first time the service was completely lacking. From the Front Desk to the gentleman at the Concierge your people need to learn Customer Service. The staff that they have working the lobby bar needs serious attention. I don't believe training is the answer. It would be impossible for them to move slower. Not once were we greeted with a smile or was a "thank you" uttered. Many went off site simply to avoid their poor service.

The hotel info says the concierge is on site 7am to 11pm, not true, and not very informed when there. The restaurant/food is very expensive and no real room service. Also, there was a mouse running around, which I personally scooted back outside. Amongst the worst hotel experiences I've had in the last two years. From no door staff at 10 PM to the absolute worst room service I have ever experienced in a major chain. Room cleaners they didn't bother to take the previous nights room service items.

Very disappointed with our experience here during a national conference. We reported a strong cigarette-smoke odor in our room on 3 instances in less than 72 hours (once at 3:00 in the morning) and it was never addressed.
