Very good pitas, and a unique but small beer selection. I had a Lebanon beer and a Russian beer with my meal, both excellent. Everything I've had on the menu has been very good.

Just got home from eating lunch there. Here's what we had and my responses:Iced tea-blah. Baba Ghanouj-all smoke, no eggplant flavorpita bread-my ears pricked up like a dog's when I heard a microwave go off. It was the cook warming the pita. I was ready to leave then.Dinner for two ($22) which …

A little surprised at all the positive reviews. My sirloin souvlaki was burnt and tough. Rice was microwaved. Greek salad was not a real Greek salad but the North American version with lettuce. Sadly, it had no flavour. Guess the local reviewers have never had real Greek food.

Remember the wine!. The food is excellent and the service responsive. The owner frequently talks with guests, too. The best part of the Wael experience, though, is the wonderful red wine, Chateau Kefraya, from Lebanon. A delight.
