The VNSA has been around for over 60 years and provides a superior service to the residents of Maricopa County, AZ by picking up gently used books from people's homes, reselling them once a year during the second weedend in Feb at the AZ State Fairground, then donating all the proceeds to benefit other LOCAL charities. BRAVO to these volunteers who do such great and needed work
They collect books, cds, dvds, etc. all year and have a huge sale. This is the place if you love books. You must go early for the best selection, though it is half-price on Sunday. It does help to bring something to carry around your selections.
If it's resonably priced books and LOTS of them, then this is your place to come every February! Usually prices are hardback $1 and paperbacks $0.50 on Saturday and half that on Sunday! With such low prices and so many books, you can't go wrong!
