Vitello's

Infamous site!

This is the restaurant Robert Blake took his wife to before she was shot. Old time American Italian fare derived from southern Italian cuisine. Lots of veal dishes, naturally. Fun atmosphere.
Vitello's

Old School Italian Restaurant

Review Rating
A lot of chain store pizza and Italian restaurants claim that they are an old fashioned Italian dining experience (no need to name names, if you live next to a mall, you know what I'm talking about.) Vitello's is the real thing. The pizza, pasta, dessert and other Italian dishes are fresh and home made. There are some candles stuck in bottles that are just that: candles stuck in bottles. The prices are reasonable and the menu has a lot of dependable classic Italian dishes sprinked with some specials. Vitellos is one of my favorite dinner places when I want to spend a few hours with friends and catch up on things. There are Italian murals on the wall that recall a Neapolitan seascape, so it's got some atmosphere. Definitely get the tiramisu or gelato with an espresso when you're done.

Order the hearty veal parmigiana with The Godfather Perfect Manhattan and an order of homemade cannoli, and you’ll be transported to Cefalu, Italy, the founders’ hometown (or at least to... more
