Lost $400 frames refused to replace

I dropped off a pair of Oliver Goldsmith Carters (glasses frames purchased at another store in Portland, Oregon) in January 2011 to have lenses made. The person who helped me said it would be two weeks to get the prescription filled and they would call me if they weren't done. They called me two weeks later to let me know the lab, was backed up, it would be a little longer. They called a couple more times every few weeks to let me know they still were not done. After a month of this, I told them to just call me when they're done. Skip ahead to March 4, 2011 almost two and a half months...

A couple years back I picked up a new set of eyeglasses and prescription sunglasses from this Vision World. At the time of my purchase Vision World was one of the few places my eye insurance was accepted, so I was limited in my choices of where to shop or I would have gone somewhere else from the start. I had a present experience with ordering, however when the two pair of glasses arrived, I could never get adjusted to the regular glasses. At the same time the new sunglasses were great. I went back a handful of times asking to confirm the lenses in the regular glasses were correct. ...

Excellent selection, knowledgable friendly service and very reasonable prices punctuated by frequent sales keeps me very loyal not only to Vision World but this store location particularly. Have yet to be disappointed. Everyone I have referred there has allways reported satisfaction.
