The operation of the Vision Clinic is highly inefficient and seems to focused solely on the bottom line. I left them years ago because they did not value my time, i.e. poorly appointment planning on their part meant 1 1/2 hours in the waiting room for me. And another time they couldn't get a message to me that my doctor went home sick? Also they run that horrible video trying to sell you their services again and again in the waiting room. I went back because they brought a new doctor on board that my family liked but after this week I'm done for good. For seeming to have many staff...

It Pays to Comparison Shop

While the service was fine and the selection fairly good, it might be a good idea to comparison shop if you are in the market for new frames. The shop at the Vision Clinic on Washington Ave. is considerably higher priced than the Eye Clinic of Racine. I just purchased frames at Dr. Savin's Clinic for $259 only to discover - to my dismay - that they were $195 at the Eye Clinic. They explained it away by saying they purchase their frames directly from the manufacturer and not from a distributor.
