If you're interested in buying the latest by Kelly Clarkson, this is a good place to shop. If, like me, you expect a music store this huge to carry the entire catalogs of more obscure artists, look elsewhere.

For some reason, I have not found many music stores in the North Loop area, but Virgin Megastore makes up for that lack. The store fits its name very well, as it is in fact a megastore of music. The music genres are laid out in a clear manner, and they have anything you could possibly want. This is one of the best record stores to browse around in. I like it much more than Tower. It's huge, so you are sure to find whatever you want, and they have other items besides CDs, like t-shirts and stuff.
