Proprietor Vincenzo Gabriele greets his customers like visiting royalty and his brother, chef Agostino, plies them with fine Continental Italian dishes that remind diners that it was the Italians who taught the French to make sauces. I was visiting Louisville, Ky for the very first time. I had the pleasure of having dinner at Vincenzo's with some friends. We where able to create our own appetizers, which I thought was a nice touch. We had Salmon with honey due and it was terrific. For dinner most of us got the "Touranado." I made a reservation for a Valentine's day lunch last year. I asked for for a romantic corner table which they said they could do and I also asked if they were doing anything special for Valentine's day and they said no. We arrived and no one offered to take my coat or pull out my chair at the table right next to the kitchen they led us to. I asked if any other tables were available and was...

This elegant restaurant makes you feel like you are back in the Old Country. Their menu boasts fresh seafood sauteed with garlic and parsley and their own special sauce!! You also can step away from the dining area and enjoy drinks and appetizers at the lobby bar for a more informal experience.
