Business Description from the Web
The glow of candlelight at each table illuminates the interior of this charming bistro. Framed photography collections and a fireplace line the deep red walls of one of the dining rooms, and a dark wood bar flanks the adjoining space. Authentic French fare, such as sole meunière with brown butter caper sauce, haricot verts and potato purée, satiates discriminating diners, who tend to linger...

The bistro's soft candlelight adds an aura of romance for couples cooing at corner tables. Even the diners fit the part: Early evening caters to up-coiffed professionals, but the crowd transforms into a swirl of younger socialites ordering bottles of Bordeaux as the evening progresses. The menu delivers clssic steak frites and ratatouille. The chocolate souffle cake satisfies the French-est of...

From the ceramic pig chef that greets you just inside the door to the pile of baguettes on a sturdy antique farmhouse table against one wall, Vin Rouge is evocative of a classic French bistro. Vin Rouge looks a little sketchy on its barren patch of dirt at the corner of Ninth Street and Markham, but it's probably the best of all of the George's owned restaurants. Go for brunch on the weekends, and make sure to ask for extra olive dip for your bread!
My boyfriend and I went to Vin Rouge for Valentines Day. It was amazing. I had lamb shank, which was perfectly cooked. He had the sea bass which was also delicious. Our server was great too. He was very knowledgeable and attentive without being overbearing. Fantastic. Can't wait to go back!
