Information from the business
While on vacation here in Los Angeles during the summer of 1996, an empty store on Larchmont called our name--so our first L.A. location went from idea to reality! California "Fresh" means just that--no additives--fresh. The dough for the pizza crust is prepared daily using fresh yeast and allowed to "proof" (rise). The resulting shell is a true baker's crust. Village Pizzeria uses the best...

Business Description from the Web
Stop in Village Pizzeria for a place that serves Italian food with a menu dominated by pizza. Expect the average entrée to cost $8 to $12, and you`ll be appropriate if dressed casual.
This place has its roots in Brooklyn, so it's gotta be good, right? We're purists and would rather eat glass than a pizza with ham and pineapple, and they have a lot of fussy combos, but they serve simpler, classic options (the pepperoni is stellar) and they offer both Neapolitan and Sicilain by the slice, which is hard to come by in this town. Editorial Reviews from the web
What started in San Francisco in the early 1970's has now exploded in Los Angeles' quiet Larchmont neighborhood. We could get a whole pie here for what Cheebo charges for a personal pizza. Serious ode to the 7-1-8. Chicken parm, old signage, Coney Isle nostalgia, and pie of so many flavors in two styles (sorry,"reverse cowgirl" still not an option). Much loved by struggling actors and homesick stars. Is that "Turtle" reliving his Brooklyn youth? Wow, touchy! Apparently, he doesn't like hugging it out with...

They have the best thin crust pizza here and what separates them from everyone else is their crust!! The garlic rolls are also very very good and price is so affordable! $8.50 for a whole lunch special (which includes an individual pizza of 6-8 slices, a side salad, garlic roll and drink)

I used to live nearby and my friends love pizza. So I treat them, and they always smile as soon as they have the first bite. The flavor is good. That's important, plus the sause, cheese and bread. I suggest getting a large salad to share and order one large pizza you and your friends can enjoy. I've spotted a few local hollywood artists picking up a slice or two. Don't stay too long or...
