A cozy, friendly refuge in the middle of downtown Arlington Heights! Allie the shopkeeper is helpful, warm, and friendly, offering green tea, coffee, and cookies to her customers who sit and chat while pouring over newer and vintage books and treasures. D: It was like stepping back into yesteryear, a quaint little bookstore that excudes warmth and charm. The gal running it, Allie, welcomed us as we entered, offered licorice, invited us to have some coffee and cookies, there was even a young man playing guitar. I haven't experience such sweetness in a shop, since I was a child growing up in the midwest. I've been taking my grandkids ever since....

I was recently in a major bookstore and I simply became worn out and am especially disappointed I could not reach the top shelves - fooey! I dislike having to ask for help all the time. VICTORIA'S BOOKS IS A WONDERFUL FRIENDLY AND INVITING STORE. I JUST LOVE IT!
