Felt I had to write a review of Louisiana Veterinary Emergency and my experience with them in 2010 when my dog, Buddy, was hit by a car on New Year's Eve in Abbeville, La. We got him stabilized at a clinic in Lafayette and the Vet there recommended we go to Louisiana Emergency Veterinary Hosp. Buddy is 9 yrs old, 88 lbs, and a rescue mutt with a splendid personality.
His left hip was broken....

This place is a joke. I took my dog here when he began vomitting a pink liquid we thought may be blood. While at the vet he began bleeding from his anus uncontrollably. The doctor took X-rays and blood tests and determined he was dehydrated and couldn't tell from the X-rays what was wrong with my dog. They then said my current balance I had to pay for the one nights visit was $500 and that they...
