What the community has to say about Vegas Lounge

Information about this business (2)

Club

New Vegas Lounge gets crowded fast, especially when the Out of Town Blues Band is on stage. If the night is right, the band will indulge in a little audience participation or bring willing people on stage. The bar is small but friendly. Requesting table service is the best option. Patrons must be at least 18.

Lounge lizards say it "absolutely rocks" when the "incredible" in-house "bluesy cover band" gets going at this Logan Circle performance venue that's a "bit crazy" when the "amazing crowd" starts dancing ; yes, some say the service is lacking and the "dive"-y interior is on the "small" side, but most think "if it were any larger, it wouldn't feel as intimate or cool."

Marvin Gaye gets embalmed, propped up in lifelike pose for tourist pics. Tumbledown eyesore is comforting among the rising sea of steel and glass on P Street. Bleak façade proudly wears the face of '68 riots, interior remodel is wholesome and hi-tech. Honest-to-goodness blues guitar wails on into the wee hours. Only tunes and rhythm matter. Celebrated musicians still keeping it real despite...

crowded and cramped, but good live music

Vegas Lounge is one of those DC institutions, no doubt. This bar definitely has changed over the years, and I'd say it's clientele has also changed.
The good thing about here is that they have really good live music. People come for the live music,...

Oh Vegas Lounge.... How I love thee. A $10 cover charge will get you a night filled with great music and dancing. This is definitely a hole in the wall, but a beautiful diamond in the rough. The...

Vegas lounge is a small spot with great music. Seems like everybody hates their job, but friendly enough. If ur for old school rhythm and blues/Jazz this spot is for U. I've been a few times and...

Came here a couple of years ago and loved it! The real test was coming back to see that not much has changed. The music is great...a lot of motown sprinkled with a little more current pop! The...
