VCA Five Corners Animal Hospital is a veterinary facility based in Burien, WA where your pet's health is our top priority.
I would like to make a special thanks to Dr. Ahlgrim, VCA Five Corners vet, for her impeccable, honest and caring handling of our dog and me as a customer. Our dog, Ripley, was clearly suffocating when we took her to the hospital in the middle of the night. We found out that her heart is 4X bigger than normal and due to her heart condition, her lungs are filling up with fluid, thus causing her not being able to get enough oxygen. We just went to another vet a month and a half ago, and her condition was completely missed by them. Here, they took care of her and us as well to make it as easy...
I took my pet to VCA after being taken for 550 dollars at another vet. The first time I took him to that vet, the vet who saw him was afraid of dogs, she was actually a cat vet and barely felt his belly. When they finally checked him his liver was scared and shrunken, it was too late. When it came time to put him down, VCA sat with me and pet the dog the entire time. I have two dogs now and would only take them to VCA. They are caring and gentle, and take time to answer all your questions.
I thought I was doing a good deed by taking in an injured seagull. I called a few hours later and the girl asked, "Did you bring a seagull in here?". Then she told me they do not give out information on surrendered animals. They wouldn't even tell me if the bird died or survived. Weird policy, and the girl was so uncaring, sounded annoyed with me!! I just wanted to help out, I hope I left that...
I took my cat to Five Corners Emergency Clinic they wanted $800 or more to stich him up. I did not have $800 on the spot so for $300 the vet put a gause wrap over the wound to cover the wound (Friday Evening) told to take him to my vet on Monday to have the dressing changed. The vet did not tell me that by waitning until Monday there would be so much infection my cat would probably die. I took...
I have an excellent regular vet, but my dogs have had a habit of getting sick on evenings and weekends. Five Corners has always been courteous, supportive, and caring. Yes, emergency care is more expensive; but it's not out of line. \r\n\r\nRecently I had to have one of my dogs put down, which was a very difficult experience. The vets were very supportive and helped me get through it. ...
