This museum is in a beautiful park. The staff asked how I had heard about it, and when I answered, "In my AAA book.", they replied that every visitor said that. Too bad others don't go. There is a small, but wonderfully presented and widely ranging collection of Folk Art by strictly Utah artists. It was a highlight for me....
All the guide books and the local guide indicated this historic place was open weekdays. When we got there a sign indicated that it was open only with an appointment. Maybe funding issues. We suggest you call ahead to get information and directions.
Some of the best folkart collections of the west are housed here at the Chase Home. Enjoy a wide variety of crafts in a short time.
