Marion Simm's Skin Sense Wellness Center is a wonderful little oasis in the heart of Los Angeles.

From facials to massage, it's a terrific space to go when you're in need of some rejuvenation. Marion is a delight, her staff is professional and accommodating, and the treatments are just amazing.

I found my way to YellowBot through one of my favorite things, a T-Shirt. I was at a Lunch 2.0 and spotted somebody strolling around in one. The first thing I did when I got back to HQ was look them up online. I saw what was going on and within a few moments, I was off and running.

I love what they've done so far and I'm looking forward to future developments.

I've even got some t-shirts of my own now, thank you very much.

A good friend of mine, an English lady I might add, invited me to lunch at Chado on a rainy Friday and it was delightful.

The fresh vegetable soup was just what I needed on a cold day and the salad was delicious. Not to mention the wonderful pot of Darjeeling tea that we shared.

The prices are very reasonable, and the selection is extensive.

Two Bunch Palms is the little hideaway in the desert from the movie The Player. I only mention it because when I first saw the movie, I didn't know that.

A few years later I was telling a friend that I needed a place like that to unwind and she said, "well why don't you just go there? Duh!"

I made the reservations right then and there and it was just what the doctor ordered.

I'm not typically one to sit around in a pool with no activities, but I've gotta tell you. I spent about 80% of my weekend in their grotto hot spring pool. It's amazing.

The other 20% of my time was spent having amazing massages and my all-time favorite spa treatment - The Mud Bath! Yep, that's right. I've never been more relaxed in my life. The mud is warm and your body is suspended in it. The only way I can describe it is like this - Every inch of your body feels like a grape suspended in a jello mold. Imagine that for a sec...Right?

Anyway, I've been back 3 times since the first time and I'm looking forward to my next time.

To make a long story short, the facilities are beautiful, the environment is all about relaxation, the staff is a pleasure, and the treatments are AMAZING.

I was so happy to find Los Hermanos here on YellowBot!

When I lived in the Marina, Los Hermanos was the spot for my favorite Carne Asada burrito EVER, and trust me when I tell you - I've had Carne Asada burritos from Cabo San Lucas to the bay and everywhere in between.

Little advice, only take on the Super when you have a couple hours(at least) to kill, because it is a full meal in itself. Loaded with steak, rice, beans, guacamole. YUM.

Perfect topper to your weekend stroll down Chestnut. Late afternoon or Wee hours of the morning!

The Pita Kitchen is located right next to the Sherman Oaks Newsstand. I've seen this little hole in the wall spot go through restaurant after restaurant and nothing had any longevity until The Pita Kitchen took over! Their food is amazing!

I always go for the Beef/Lamb Shawarma, sometimes on the plate and sometimes in the gyro sandwich, and I have never been disappointed.

The owners are friendly and the food is always fresh and delicious!

Two Words: Get There!

I've been going to Iwata since they first opened and the quality hasn't changed a bit. Always Delicious, Always Great Service.

I don't get there as much as I did when I lived in Sherman Oaks but when my sister and I sit down to discuss our business, Iwata's our spot.

Try the Blue Crab Hand Roll. You won't be disappointed.

Kate Mantilini is the perfect spot for those times when you're not quite sure what you're in the mood for. Their menu is that extensive.

Everything from frog's legs to Kate's Meat Loaf, they've got it, and it's all Delicious.

In fact I just scheduled a business networking lunch with somebody that I haven't met before, so Kate Mantilini was the perfect choice. They've got something for everybody.

The booth's are my favorite, they're large and private so you can really concentrate on the conversation and the food without being distracted by the other patrons.

We went to Oliva for my sister's birthday in December and we had a fabulous time.

The ambiance was comfortable and inviting, perfect for the family. My 8 year old niece was treated to a very special Shirley Temple by our server.

The food was amazing, mom had the lobster special, my sister had a delicious pasta dish, my fiance had an amazing risotto, and my linguine with clams was delectable.

A Great Way to Celebrate Family-Style!

I took my fiance, Bec, to Crustacean for her birthday and I have to say - We Were Both Blown Away. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable, and the restaurant itself is spectacular.

Of course, being a floral designer, I had to make sure that my sweetheart had the perfect flowers for her centerpiece, so I made arrangements with Crustacean to drop off her birthday centerpiece early in the day.

When we arrived, it was first class all the way. They escorted us to our beautifully appointed private table and the flowers were already in place and everything was perfect.

Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and gave us impeccable service.

I haven't even gotten to the food yet. It was unbelievable. From the lobster appetizer to the crab to the garlic noodles. Everything was absolutely delicious and the servings were ample.

Definitely an evening to remember!

I hadn't been to Corbin Bowl in quite a while, but a few weeks ago a good friend of mine decided to throw her 30th there. What a Great Time we had!

The bowling was terrific. Nice clean state of the art lanes paved the way for a great bowling session. We took up 4 lanes in the corner.

The real treat however was post-bowling. We made our way into the bar for some drinks and karaoke.

Now karaoke is always a good time, but Corbin Bowl has upgrading their machine and I was blown away. No more scouring old books of song selections, they've got a computerized system making it so easy to find your favorites and put your name in the line-up. I'm sure online sign-up is not far away!

They didn't stop there howevery, the stage is set for your ultimate performance complete with lighting AND smoke effects!

All in all a Great Time had by All.

I was taking my niece Sophia to her first sewing class today and we were running a little early. So, it was a perfect opportunity to catch The Apple Pan bright and early just as they were opening and before the usual crowd starts to form.

We shared a Steakburger with cheese and some fries, making sure to save room for a warm slice of pie.

They really have their system down to a science. The burger was cooked to perfection with all the fixins on a nice super soft bun. D.Licious!

The apple pie was served absolutely perfect! Warm, Fresh, and Delicious.

This could be the start of a Sunday ritual for Sophia and I.

Just had our new super sofa delivered today, and we're loving it.

We stopped by Al's on Sunday afternoon and were greeted by Tony, who was all about helping us find the right solution for our space. He didn't try to sell us on something that we didn't need, rather he broke it down for us with no nonsense. If you're in the market for some furniture, get yourself over to Al's and ask for Tony. You'll be glad you did.

Sometimes you're just in the mood for some greasy taquitos smothered in cheese and guacamole.

This usually happens about 2am, after you've been drinking all night or about 11am the day after you've been drinking all night. Whenever it does, Thank God for Benito's.

My top picks are the 5 rolled taquitos, the bean & cheese burrito, and the carnitas burrito.

Benito's may not decrease your waist size, but on those special occasions it sure Hits the Spot.

For those nights when you just wanna park it on the couch, but you've got a hankering for some sushi, Asakuma is the way to go.

They're fast, they're friendly, and the Tuna is always Fresh!

I'm not the type of guy that wants to spend a day and a half in a store stumbling blindly through rack after rack looking for a new pair of jeans.

I'd much rather head over to Fred's, walk up to the Jean counter and say "Hey, can you give me a couple pairs of whatever the latest is to try on?" They serve up a few different brands, styles. I try em on. I find the style that works, throw down the Amex, and I'm set. Plus, if they need any fitting, they mark em for you, and within a couple of days you're cruising around in a hot pair of jeans that fit just right, No Extra Charge!

If that's not enough, there's usually some nice eye candy strolling around the store to brighten your shopping experience.

I might be a little jaded, because Humphrey Yogart was one of my very first jobs way back in the day. But hey, once you've had the best, it's difficult to take a chance on the others.

As any Humphrey's customer will tell you, they've truly brought the concept of "Your Way" to a whole new level. You can literally have any flavor imaginable.

My all-time favorite, which I recommend to all my friends is Strawberries and Cream Cheese. Just be sure to ask them to mix it twice so it's smooth as silk.

Tommy's is as synonymous with Los Angeles as entertainment is to Hollywood.

As an LA native, I remember pulling up to the original shack at Beverly and Rampart for a Chili Cheeseburger or a Chili Dog, and pulling a bottle of Pepsi out of the cooler. The whole family would wait in line, place our order, and stand at the counters in the parking lot enjoying the experience. The perfect follow-up to a Dodger game!

In a town that is so spread out and disconnected, Tommy's is one of the few things that fellow Los Angeles natives can share.

Pink's has become more of a tourist trap and is nothing like what it was when I was a kid. In-N-Out makes a delicious burger, but if you want a true LA experience, get yourself to the shack at Beverly and Rampart.
