This is NO haven for pets. This store carries puppies that come from puppy mills. They are sickly and when you buy these dogs, you keep their parents in filthy cages with no human contact just so you can have a puppy. Go to a shelter or a REPUTABLE breeder.

The products they carry are the best, but the service is terrible. I hate to go into an establishment to spend my money and be made to feel like THEY are doing ME a favor. The owner's daughter has a chip on her shoulder and a bad attitude. Maybe she should work elsewhere?

They are the veterinary clinic used by a local puppy broker who gets her pups flown in from a large puppymill in the midwest.Also gets puppies from a local back yard breeder who has produced very bad pups. Any establishment that condones these houses of horror should not be patronized.

The majority of these dogs come from a puppy mill in the mid west. They are flown in. Denise will tell you differently, (wouldn't you?), but it's a fact. Help put these puppy hell houses out of business by not patronizing a store that KEEPS THEM IN BUSINESS.

Since Valerie Heifler started working there, I can no longer patronize this clinic. Valerie is a back yard breeder who sells her dogs to pet shops and brokers. Her dogs, for the most part, develop health issues as they grow. People buy from her because she is a veterinarian, but she knows nothing and does not care to know anything about genetics. It's all about the money. Sorry Dr Hohne. You are wonderful, but you need to be careful of whom you hire.
